What We've Been up to Since December

It's January and here's what we have been up to.  Lemur is trying to potty train... again, still.  Hopefull he'll get it done this time.  So far so good today... 2 hours we have been dry!

Yak just gets bigger and cuter and more mobile every day.  He scoots backwards, rolls around and is starting to rock on his knees.  He weighs 20 pounds!!

Sorry - dealing with a new camera.  I rotated the picture in my computer, but it still came up crooked here... I have no idea what I am doing.  Anyway, Bee has started the procedures for getting braces.  She got her x-rays and impressions on January 4, 2010.

We have been playing lots of board games, especially during the break and weekends.

Again, learning how to use my new camera... Yak is just too wiggly, need to find a new setting.  Here is Elk calf #4, Penguin and Yak.

Can you say steak?!!!  The Elk family helped us cut up a small cow elk that the Cowboy family gave us at the end of December.  Hunter, Porcupine, Lemur and Penguine made a quick trip up North to pick it up.  We spent New Years Day cutting up steak and elk burger.  We got lots and lots of meat and really appreciated the Elk Family helping us cut it up - it only took 3 1/2 hours with their help.  It's so nice to have lots of meat in the freezer, and we have enjoyed back strap and elk chili lately! yum!!!
