A little Bit of our Summer

Trip to the Round Barn during Memorial Day Weekend.

We FINALLY put sand in the sandbox.  The boys have been LOVING it!

At the Boy Scout Spring Camporee they had a Black Hawk Helicopter come in, land, and it stayed there for several hours.  We got to see it take off.  Above:  Lemur thought it was too loud - that's him with his hands over his ears running to Martin.

Yes, we let our kids go skinny dipping.  It's cheaper than buying swim suits.

We celebrated Monkey's birthday about a week late: He was in Disneyland during his on his birthday.

Summer = lots of home made ice cream!!

The Lizard Family came one day - here are the Elk kids, Lizard kids and us playing Steel the Bacon.

Other things we have been doing that I didn't take pictures of: 

*  Martin, Steelhead and Penguin are earing money to go on the Trek.  They have been working a lot... and I have been running them around A LOT!!

*  Lots of trips to the YMCA.  We got a memebership and go swimming/exercise several times a week.  Sometimes the kids will swim for 4 hours... yes, they are hungry!! and tired when they get home.

*  Playing with friends.

*BBQ-ing.

*  Lots of Trek exercising.  WE try and go on a 4 mile walk at least once a week - and then our regular exercise the rest of the week.  The 3 critters are going to Trek Family get-together's lots too.  It is keeping us busy!!

*Scout Camp, day camp, pack meeting etc.

*Hunter is working TONS right now... sometimes I feel like a single mom with 8 kids.  We are so blessed he has a job!
*Zookeeper gets up at 4:30 a.m. to have her morning work done before the little critters get up for the day.... zzzzzz.
