I found a few pictures - yay! One afternoon we went to pick huckleberries... sadly we had missed them, so we stopped along the Payette River and played for a few hours. BBbrrrr... that's ccccold water!
From my artist... Martin!
Yak didn't mind the freezing water at all!
Martin had the little critters help him stack all the wood he was splitting. Lemur loved it! One day he told me he wanted Martin to come home from school so they could split wood. Good boy.
OPTIMIST FOOTBALL ON THE BLUE
Monkey started Optimist tackle football in August. He has LOVED it!! His first big shabang was at the BSU stadium - they got to play 6 offensive plays and 6 defensive plays. His team made 3 touchdowns in 6 plays!! IT WAS AWESOME!
Here is Monkey's team doing team pictures.
Go Golden Eagles! Monkey loved playing on the blue turf! He was hoping to get blue "grass stains" and then he said he wasn't going to ever wash his football pads.
FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL 2010
Monkey is in the 4th grade. He is excited to have a "man teacher who loves BSU!"
Martin is a freshman... wow, I can't believe I have a kid in high school. When Martin got home on the first day of school, this is what he said, "Oh. My. Gosh. High school is so AWESOME!!!" Yeah, he is ready to grow up. He loves his classes and is doing great in them so far. His favorite class is seminary and then he has marching band, jazz band, and oh yeah... the core classes.
Bee made the leap into Middle School. Are you lovin' the dress code as much as she does? She can wear gold, white, or chocolate brown Polo's, tan or black pants, BELT, and matching socks. Yeah, all the kids think it's pretty cool and they all love wearing "bathroom colors" every day. Wwwoooo-wooooo! Bee is playing the flute in band. She was thinking about playing the violin but Martin came home every day the past 2 years with awesome stories about how much fun Mr. Adamson is in band, so Bee decided to do band instead of orchestra. Grandma Panda helped her get a flute and so now we hear lots of tootling coming from her downstairs.
